Furniture, Clothing & Other Goods
The Mustard Seed depends on the generosity of a variety of donors to provide furniture, household goods, electronics and clothing: residential, corporate, retail, hospitality industry, and others. We rely on the support from our community for these items so we may continue to serve our clients with all the necessary items to create a home. Furniture and clothing donations are accepted at our warehouse Monday – Friday, during regular business hours, as well as the second Saturday of every month. To maximize your pickup we accept clothing, books and other miscellaneous household items along with your furniture, as long as they are boxed or bagged.
To ensure quality of service we ask that all donations be free of rips, stains, pet hair, and in good, working condition. We are doing our best to cut our cost for dumping fees. We take pride in the items we provide to our families. We work with a very small staff and do not have the manpower, or the financial means, to pay for parts and repairs.

Please note: We do ask furniture donors to make a suggested donation of $25 to defray our vehicle costs. You are welcome to give as much or as little as you like. We only ask that you give based on your means and the value you place on the service we provide to the needy in our community.
There is a $20 additional charge for every floor we must ascend to secure your donations.
