Donation Drives

Organizing a donation drive with The Mustard Seed of Central Florida is a rewarding opportunity for your group of any size to give back.

Sock and Underwear Drive

This opportunity benefits members of our clothing program. This program allows individuals and families in our community to shop in our Seed Boutique & Community Shop to receive a week’s worth of clothing, including socks and underwear. A sock and underwear drive is the perfect project for churches, schools and groups and is easy to organize. We can provide you with promotional flyers for your drive. Collect new packages of socks and underwear for a designated amount of time, and we can schedule accordingly to pick up your group’s donations! Email andrew@mustardseedfla.org to get started!

Junk in the Trunk Donation Drive

Our “Junk in the Trunk” donation drive is a fun opportunity for offices of any size! Encourage employees to bring donations of clothing, shoes, books, housewares, such as dishes, linens and home decor. Work with a Mustard Seed staff member to schedule a date and time for our box truck to come to your site to load the donations. A thank-you packet will be provided to all participants. A full list of accepted items and promotional materials with your team’s designated pick up date and time will be provided to you for distribution. Email Andrew@mustardseedfla.org to get started!

Dresser Drive

Our Dresser Drive initiative provides an opportunity for team building and collaboration combined with volunteering to meet one of the most critical needs of The Mustard Seed of Central Florida. Our hope is to provide every family we serve with a dresser. However, with more than 1,000 families served each year and few dressers donated, there is a gap in this need you can help fill. Click here for full details on how to coordinate a dresser drive. Email Mehek@mustardseedfla.org to get started!
